CEL while Cobb installed - cleared upon restoring to stock??

Before installing my Cobb tune, I had taken the car to the dealer complaining about a hesitation on acceleration and also a problem with the CEL coming on and the engine misfiring. They replaced one of the coils

After installing the Cobb the misfiring happened again. I uninstalled and took it back to the dealer. But they are telling me they don't see any issues with the car.

Can they not see that the CEL came on? I thought a log was kept for every time that happened but I didn't want to mention anything in case the Cobb cleared it or something. Does anyone know?

Cobb clears all code upon installing or uninstalled. Next time when u installed cobb and you trigger a cel, use the code reader function to read what codes you have. A CEL after cobb can be alot of things since the car is running higher power, weakness are bound to be exposed.

When were your spark plugs last replaced? What codes is your Cobb AP showing?

A Cobb clears codes on removal. The ECU gets reset. The only thing that may survive the reset is shadow codes.

I suspect your plugs.
A Cobb tune (any tune actually) with show weakness in the ignition system.
Random misfire diagnosis should start with a plug swap if the plugs have more than 20K miles.
