Auriga Leader - Sailed 6/5 ETA 7/4 Port Hueneme
I received great news today that my car is on board the Auriga Leader! My car was at the port as of 6/1 and missed the Fedora which left the same day. I was certain I was going to be boarding the Mignon which leaves on 6/14 but was pleasantly surprised when my online tracking shows that it's already en route. I called the 800# and they confirmed it is on the Auriga Leader which left on 6/5 scheduled to arrive on 7/4.
Anyone else on this ship?? It seems to be a part of the NYK line and not W&W which explains why my vin still doesn't work on the W&W website. Looks like it left Southampton on 6/9! Last edited by mikeyymonster; 06-11-2014 at 01:08 PM.. |

Hey congrats Lazee 1! Now you'll join the rest of us.
Refreshing tracking pages daily... Watching YouTube vids of M Performance exhausts and track days... Haha... Sigh. |

I guess I am the only one tracking this ship! It is scheduled to arrive in Panama on 6/23! On a side note, I purchased some goodies to help me get by. Ordered car on 4/20 so it's been a looooong journey so far.
Painted reflectors! CF Shift knob to go with my CF interior trim installed at the port! |

I was actually told when I called the 800 # to confirm the vessel name. You can also find out by contacting your CA. Once you know the vessel name, then you can track the ship. I wasn't able to input my VIN with this particular shipping line.

Contacted BMW and spoke with a very polite young lady that confirms the car is indeed on the Freemantle Highway. An email today from usmilitarysales at bmwna also confirmed the vessel.
However, that vessel is offloading on the East Coast. BMW has the receiving dealer listed as: San Diego BMW! Will BMW ship the car overland from GA to CA? |

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...php?p=16153623 I would maybe contact the CA to see if he knows. I guess they would have to ship it by truck across the country? Maybe someone can chime in here if they have more information on this. |

And theeeeeeeeeeeeeere she is!! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself now that I can't check the tracking of the ship anymore! My CA advised I should expect to see it within 5 days or so. I hope he's wrong and I get it this weekend! Although it appears I have been tracking this ship myself, hopefully this will help others in determining how long it takes from start to finish. I will make a final post upon delivery of the car.

Hey congrats on arriving on time! I'm in the same boat as you right now. Still waiting...
My 228i is waiting on the docks at San Diego for a US Mainland-Hawaii shipping company set to depart on the 9th. This is like watching grass grow... Or like we say in Hawaii, "Watching rice cook." |

Thanks! I think the wait is worse now knowing that it's just waiting for a truck to being delivered. When are you actually expected to receive your car in Hawaii?

Wow you still got a ways to go but hang in there it will all be worth it in the end! I am also fearful of the random test drive and installing the front plate when I told them not to. I am also worried that my car does not have the proper interior trim installed (CF) since I adjusted it right before production. Hopefully I won't have to worry anymore after I see it in a few days..

I purchased the most basic kit. I think it was around $70 or so? The service manager was impressed with the build quality and liked how you can adjust the positioning of the bracket to the tow hook bolt. He was looking at some others online and didn't really like how set they were. I'm happy with it and plan on using it once my Hawaii plates come in.
For the first two weeks whilst waiting for the plates, I'm going to rock a Munich plate with the accurate region seals. lol, might as well have fun while it's legal. |

Well, I picked up my car on Saturday as planned and I've been having so much fun with it I haven't been able to post! I always wondered why certain members don't post after they get their cars... and now I know why! Here are some pictures including a picture of my CF interior. I also have painted reflectors installed! Car is a blast!!
