Think you'd need to buy a new PCV cap to get it...oh dang is that something where they only sell it as part of a new valve cover?

That would be supremely lame.

Can't you just splice one? Kit should be like 20bucks and it is not very hard.

Why would it have an uneven curve? I'm not sure if this o-ring is static or not but static would be an even better candidate. You match fit the ends and join with adhesive to ensure bonding. I generally use loctite adhesive with viton o-rings in static service. I have got by using spliced o-rings in low pressure service for shuttle valves etc.

If you can get an accurate measurement of the bedding ring you should be able to order an o-ring from gumlast etc. Maybe rob should look into that.

Yeah, make your own. Maybe Rob Beck has some data on this or has an o-ring kicking around he's willing to measure. What happened to yours?

Just use some 2 part gasket maker type crap on the threads of the cap. That'll honestly probably seal it better than the o-ring.

So retrieve the o-ring, unless you threw it out, get a thickness on the o-ring itself, and measure total length the best you can, then tell me the diameter of the piece it's going on. You have a mic/calipers?
