Has anyone tried to fit E92 rear rims on the front?

I was just curious. I searched the forum and could not get anything definitive on the subject. I have 230 style rims on my E92 and I like the look of the rear with more dish than the front.

I know that the offests are different from front to rear -- but has anyone tried it.

If it could be possible, I would still run a staggered fitment. Something like a 245/30 front and 285/30 rear. Or if possible 255/30 front and 285/30 rear.

I am currently running 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear with no problems what-so-ever.
I have not dropped it but I might do it in the future. Coil-overs for sure.

The rear dish just looks oh-so-good!
Sorry for the pic quality. This was looking through my office window.

the 230 is a 9+39 its about 2mm away from the fucking strut lol. so yes you can go 255.30 and double stagger that beezy with 285.30 with no #problemowatsoever lol

coilover later? no problemo either

all around cc is where all the action is these days

Fantastic! Do you think if I get coilovers that the front clearance will be better?

I hear that some coilovers have a smaller footprint and take up less space in front...

the bc coils flares out at the top so u lose clerance. any coils like kw,st will be ok. 2mm is plenty of gap. wheel and strut will never touch

285 seems too wide for a 9" wheel. You should look into having the rear wheels widened to 10" or 10.5" and space them out so they're flush.

I just so happened to get a bolt in the front tire and a nail in the rear same side of the car. So I got them off to get fixed. After I got them back I put the rear on the front and boy oh boy... about 2 to 3 mm of clearance with the rear tire to the strut, and this is with 275/30s width of tire. I have the Potenza RE760 which seems a little on the small side of sizing, plus with the rounded shoulders.
The bottom of the spring perch closest to the tires seems a little close too. I wonder if I get adjustable coilovers that at full droop of the settings with the perch screwed down -- if there will be enough clearance to drop it low? Not for everyday kind of thing but for shows and meets...?
