Juice Box uninstall

Anybody know how to uninstall the Juice Box?

I'm taking my car in for the alarm program update this weekend and need a hand. I had my brother install it, so I have no clue how to remove it.

He's in Princeton, NJ. I let him borrow my car a couple weeks while I was out of town. Told him to install it and enjoy.

Now, I just need to take it out for a day!!

is it JB1 or JB2? They are both pretty easy to take out, the JB1 just has one less step. If you can't find somebody I'd watch the video on the JB site to become familiar with it. Looks hard but it's actually very simple.

Thanks Spool, but I'm taking it in on Saturday morning. I wonder if I run it by the SA that I have a piggyback installed, if 1)he could just ignore it, or 2) if it will affect the program update.

It's not like I'm bringing it in for problems related to the engine.

Hmmm....I really could just roll the dice on this one. What do you guys think?

It's JB2. Yea, the video on the website kind of turned me off from jumping into the uninstall myself.

I don't think they will notice at all. SA at my place never even gets in the car. Just writes down the problem, and tells the tech to update the car. I doubt they drive more than 10 mph, slow enough to even notice?

If you don't meet up with Spool, I think you'll be safe to keep it on.

So I left the piggyback in and took the car in for the program update w/o a word to the SA. No problems whatsoever and it only took 1.5 hours.

Went to Thompson BMW in Doylestown PA. A bit of a trek, but my parents are in the area and gave me a reason to visit. To my surprise when the SA handed me the paperwork to checkout w/ the cashier, she said since it was an OEM alarm and the program update was to retrofit the software, there was no charge, even though I got quoted over the phone for $105!

Great service and they definately offer the best labor rates. I would recommend Thompson BMW to anyone in the area.

Its awesome!! Def turned some heads when it cranked on at the mall parking lot earlier.

Do you find it a bit loud at low rpms (around 2000-2500)? My wife commented that it was a little loud...and I couldn't argue w/ her. She was like "what does your new exhaust actually do?" So, I'm a bit vain

I was reading up the thread on the sponsors forum and was on the fence whether or not to jump these. The funny thing is - while I was in Rosslyn a couple weeks ago...I see this AW e90 with the Lux 4 at a stop light pull away and was like "dayam, that sounds nice". As it passes by me, I see the plates and low and behold....it's WST CST!! I think he's on the post here and has that sound clip posted

My first encounter w/ a fellow e90poster.

I would've gone to Fairfax; heard good things about them, but they quoted my $400 for the update (WTF?!)

For sure; next time there's a mini meet, I'm in. Not too handy with the car, that's why I have my bro do all the work for me . Could probably learn a thing or two from the local crew....
