Aero Kit

I contact my sales guy over Herb Chambers for the E92 aero kit pricing. After installation will be somewhere around 3k.

Since I am getting my car as soon as next monday, I seriously need some suggestions on how should I purchase/install/paint E92 aero kit.

If I can get the aero kits installed and painted at some bodyshops with great service, what shops would it be?

Since I will be traveling for the winter break for a month, would it be safe to leave my car over the body shop?

Please leave some tips!

Thanks

Dick’s Auto body in Somerville does nice work and they specialize in BMW. Look in the posts below for comments about them.

I would not want to leave a new car at a body shop for a month and I’m guessing most places would not let you do that. They would want it out of there once it was complete. Unless you find some place that would be willing to store it for you but I'm sure that would not be cheap and probably not the safest place to store a new car.

You can rent a 10/20 space at one of the local storage facilities for about $200 - $250 for the month. Most places give you the first month free + a $20 admin fee and then don't care if you keep it there for only one month.

Thanks the tip @ Dick's bodyshop

I do have garage at my apartment, but i don't know how long it will take the bodyshop to finish installation and paiting, since i am leaving Dec 18th (not getting my car til 10th!)

So Captain, do you prefer to order the OEM aero kit from the dealer? Can you also give me a reasonable price for the kit, installation& painting?

thanks

Get the kit from Tischer BMW www.mileoneparts.com and have it shipped to Dick's

Dick's is a good place for body work.
