I've been doing some searching on our glorious World Wide Web but figured if ask here as well

Vehicle - 08 335xi sedan. Injen dci, giac stage 1

I've been looking at possibly an exhaust as next mod

At first I wanted to go complete stage 2 with giac but...

Giac won't clear my codes for catless dp if I'm correct? And that would be annoying to see everyday on dash

I like giac so piggyback tune out of question

Also I just had my first child on Thursday and I'll be driving like a grandpa with him in BMW.

But he seems to love exhaust videos on YouTube. Puts him to sleep. Lol.

So.....................

Catless dp - stock exhaust?
Xpipe (res delete) with catless dp?
Just xpipe?
Or dish out $$ and buy performance exhaust?

It's still difficult to spend $1375 on just an exhaust when that $$ I can basically go stage 2

Anyone running setups above besides performance exhaust (I know what that sounds like)

Any links to vids to share that I missed?

Thanks and sorry for long message

Yea, I wouldn't recommend spending $1300 on an exhaust especially with a new child. Im running on magnaflow mufflers and about to install DPs and I debating on the x-pipe. It'll all depend on how much sound you want out of the exhaust. I would recommend the x-pipe first.. if not enough sound head for the mufflers next

I'm in Newark by mall area

I'm thinking DPs are an option if I can somehow not have to see a code being thrown all time on dash
I have a dp fix being shipped. I can sell if don't use it.

I bet an xpipe with catless would be a good sound. Haven't found any vids.

I feel like all aftermarket exhausts are trying to hard to sound like something there not.

I milder throatier more exotic sound is perfect for a 335. IMO

But I can't fathom spending $1400 on a placebo mod to my car

I think there is a fix for the code being thrown no? and I've been researching the x-pipe and I'm liking what I hear. but definitely go for the DP's first, adds a lot of sound with performance with it and I beg to differ, some aftermarket exhaust sound amazing, just too steep in price for me right now lol, and Christiana ?! me too!

Hmm you know what I'll try and make a video of it, I surprisingly like it. I was very skeptical at first about magnflow but the car is a lot deeper! now with DP's and an x-pipe I think it'll sound crazy
