Cracked rim

Hi brothers and sisters.
Just wanted to share. Got a flat. Got new rubber and had it installed. Drove 15mins and tyre lost 20 PSI pressure. So removed the wheel and discovered this. Now running an 18" commodore rim until I can afford a replacement. Thinking about a set of replica M3 rims. At least I'm on the road again. Beam on

Apart from losing PSI, did you feel anything different when you were driving with the cracked rim?

The first time the tyre went I went another 45mins with the low pressure warning. First the smell. Then a slight wobble. Then a large wobble and the cab filled with smoke. On the cracked rim didn't feel odd at all.

Ouch that is a pretty bad crack. Looks like it is time for a nice wheel upgrade though

Pretty much said this out loud.

Indeed. Got a transmission fault today so maybe the wheel isn't my biggest problem
