As many on here can attest, it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. The 335 is a great car, but in this area of the country, full throttle in a 335 would be limited to 2-3 second bursts. More fun (maybe) for 2-3 seconds, but after that it's exactly the same as a well-equipped MSport.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
I think if you owned a 335 (especially a modded one), you'd feel differently.
That may be true.

But I had the same feeling when driving M3s, and I do enjoy driving my car more than the M3. Would you say the same about the M3?
