Removing iDrive Accept screen?
One of my pet hates is the dreaded I-drive disclaimer screen which needs to be clicked away every time I start the car. It isn't even required by law in Australia but BMW give it to us anyway. Is there a way to get rid of it or at least give it a timeout after a couple of seconds like on my MB?

This was just posted on the homepage.
You can code out that opening idrive disclaimer screen. Here's DIY instructions (not for the weak hearted). It works the same way for the F10 based cars also. http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=696777 |

MHH, I ordered the DVD in motion software and as a bonus they gave me the software to delete the idrive warning. You simply download a file onto a DVD, then insert the DVD in the car and it is done. Can't tell you how much better it is without that idrive warning ....

Any way we can get the actual tire pressures via the tpms? It's listed at the end of the F30 vid.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Aussie F10M, thanks a million for this. I just fixed the "accept" screen and did the DVD in Motion while I was at it. I probably don't need to have video in motion as I have the rear screens but it is easy to disable. The Accept screen I never need look at again. Yay!

Personally, I would prefer doing the e-Sys programming way as I will be able to tweak other things. Of course it is not for the "weak of heart", but since I am an IT guy and have tweaked other things via software modifications, I believe I can do this.
