was on track with two of them. ive never seen a car accelerate that fast down the straight. there was a 430 ferrari, aston db9, gtr and a c6 there that day too. they had nothing on those two 911's. amazing cars.

I used to sell exotic cars so I have plenty of seat time in fast cars, but a (very) worked Turbo S was probably the fastest road car I've driven. Those things are nuts!

At least in the 997.2, the digital speedo is off by about 4-5%. I routinely compare my VBOX speed with the digital speedo. At "187" mph, it could actually be doing only 180 mph which is a huge difference in time to speed.
