Hey guys,

Can I configure the surround view cameras to automatically engage when entering a parking lot? I thought I read this somewhere.

Pulled the following from the X5 forum. Not sure you can set it so that it turns on for when you enter ANY parking lot.

See pg. 250 of the manual.

Storing activation points
1. Drive to the position at which the system is to
be switched on, and stop.
2. Press the camera button (left of the gear shifter).
3. Move the Controller to the right.
4. "Add activation point".

I use activation point. The car uses stored GPS position and activates the Cameras. This works well when you go to same areas. For me when I get close to driveway, cameras start then drive into the garage.

Same instructions posted earlier. I guess you can add as much as you want...
