The origination fee is a straight up bit of fat for the finance team at the dealer. I paid this in full - didn't bother me.
Note however that this is a fee for originating the contract, not the relationship. So you wouldn't automatically get it waived the next time you use BMW finance. As a return customer however BMW finance capped the loan establishment fee at $200. |

Sorry but this is a fallacy; BMw just pre-charge the cost rather than at the time of payout. A lot of other funders are cheaper after the first 12months
