How many people with 2009 models have had HPFP failure?

Zero issues with 6k on the clock. Mobil 93 with a dosage of Lucus fuel system treatment every 4 months ftw!

got an 09 coupe when they came out. pushing over 20,000 miles and no problems whatsoever. ( with the HPFP) No Long cranks at all. Vanos is another story though.

Has the DInan software been linked to the HPFP failures in any way? BMW NA just called me about my situation, and the first thing he mentioned was "I understand you have DInan software installed on the car which adds additional power to the vehicle."

I thought the DInan software does not void the BMW warranty in any way? Am I wrong about this? I have just the stage 2 software installed.

Have 09 and pump failed at 8300 miles (car was 8 months old) Running 933 pump since June and no troubles (yet) after 4 months / 3,000 miles
