Push down the lift adjustment for 7 seconds to turn it off again like you are changing a tire. Then turn it back on again and try to lower it by the toggle. Then you will need to drive it a few miles for the system to reactivate and calibrate itself. The wheel will not touch the fender in the lowest setting.
I change tires back and forth without issue. The system is idiot proof and will reset itself if you follow the instructions in the manual. https://g07.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1773941 Last edited by MystroX5; 08-02-2021 at 09:07 PM.. |

I just wanted to thank everyone for this thread. Had it not been for this thread and the misfortune of others here, I probably would have screwed things up with the suspension. It took me a good while to figure out how to shut off the suspension but it finally worked and my new wheels were installed without a hitch.

Yeah, I installed one wheel and after lowering the jack it never dropped back to normal so I panicked and removed the wheel. I went to talk to my salesman about it and he said it's fine and that I had to change all four and the system would reset. Sure enough it did and no issues.
