Well Im located in Germany, I have a stock 335xi with sport package and his limit is around 132MPH (American Spec, Speedometer reads 137MPH) at 3200RPM. it gets pretty quick there but and it feels that is doing like 90MPH in the road at that speed.

169mph, as reported by my Garmin. Not sure what my speedo said, as I never looked at it.
Closed road. Nice and straight and level. Done so with the mods listed in my sig.

Woah, that's almost super car speeds. Wish I had access to a closed strip of road to go bonkers like that

Exactly the posted speed limit, as far as any law enforcement types who can read these forums know.

166 mph. German autobahn near Frankfurt Airport and was still passed by some lady in an Audi Wagon.
Six lanes of straight road about 8 miles long.

I see someone has resurrected my old thread. Again, to all of you b!tching about "only the speed limit"..... Please..... tell me what the speed limit on a racetrack is? I did not condone in any way, shape, or form about street racing, or racing on public roads. As I tried to clarify before, this was intended as a post meant to reference places where you can achieve such speeds legally. Autobahn in Germany, the Texas Mile, or other places where...... you know what, fuck it. Keep posting your 65mph and 70mph responses. Just shows how much of a dumbass you are. And those who comment that those are as fast as they have actually been, and they aren't being sarcastic, well obviously this thread isn't intended for you.

174mph GPS with 4 people in the car and a trunk full of bags. Car was still pulling strong but let off for traffic. This was done on the Autobahn, where these speeds are no big deal. Oil temp was at a steady 275F

I have actually driven faster in my 328i than the 335i. The 328i was better balanced and felt more stable. 115 mph.
