Finally picked up today. Sorry for poor quality images. Definitely looks better with the running boards.

• No HK sound (decided to bite the bullet since my X5 warranty ended in October and also would need brakes sometime in the next year)
• No Wireless Charging (fine with me) but has EBT

MSRP was $91,295 after everything.

Exactly the same issue as the HK and the WiFi Hotspot. Unfortunately no $400 credit for losing it on the '22 model

I'm on the fence on what to do.

My family is ready for a new car...and I've settled on the X7. But no wireless AND no HK...agguu that's hard to stomach. Not deal breakers I guess. Just tough to swallow considering the price.

I have wireless charging in my ‘21 540i and I never used it (charges faster and less heat with the USB). So that part I’m ok with.

Just really wish I could have had the HK. But I figure if vehicle prices stay stupid high maybe I can trade it in next year at a minimal loss for the LCI.

Looks fantastic! How did you get the running boards on the M sport model? I understood that they could only be optioned on the standard version…?

Not sure about the M50i, but at least in the states you can order a Msport 40i with running boards as an added option

Running boards with M-Sport on the 40i has been available in the States for a while now - I have it on my ‘20 X7 40i. But for ‘22, you apparently can’t get them on the M50i….

You know I was on the same boat with the HK but I tired contemplating on buying it without it but it didn't make the cut for me haha ended up going with the M50i

This might seem silly, but I determined the M50i wasn’t worth the extra $15k if I was going to lose the running boards and black wheels as well. Seriously BMW needs to do something about their option consistency.

It is black. The picture was with direct sunlight. The extended shadowline gives you "black chrome" trim pieces and grille, but as you can see in direct light it does reflect more than the adjacent paint.
