Used (1,100 miles) GTC Valved Meisterchaft F10 Catback Exhaust
Selling a slightly used (1,100 miles) F10 (M5) Meisterchaft GTC Valved catback exhaust system. 102mm split round tips (standard), full EV Controlled. I bought the exhaust, installed it, used it for 1,100 miles then decided to sell the car so the exhaust is for sale. If you are in SoCal, you can pick it up in San Diego, otherwise I will ship domestically, buyer pays shipping (estimated $150). Asking $3k obo for the system. It's valved, so you can control the sound. In full open mode (louder), it's got an amazing sound, but my lady definitely preferred it in closed mode (quieter), but she's super sensitive to noise in general.
Me personally, I kept it in open mode almost the entire month it was on the car. Fitment was no issue, it went on smoothly. We did add a 1/8" spacer washer between the pipes and the metal guard plate just to ensure if the exhaust ever shook or moved or expanded when hot it wouldn't hit, but it wasn't required. It was just something we did as an added precaution because nothing pisses me off more than a rattle or vibration, and I've learned from past experiences, so I took precautions on this one. The valve plates at the rear bumper are VERY close to the bumper. They fit, but it has no free play. You have to line it up and adjust the clamps during the install to get it just right, but again it fits like a glove once you get it all lined up and clamped down properly. No regrets buying the exhaust at all, it completely changes the sound of the car for the better. |
