N54 Vanos
So I kept getting Inlet Vanos codes and Limp Mode, so I pulled them out, cleaned them and put them back in, however I switched them from cam to cam. Everything was fine for two weeks, now getting Inlet Vanos codes (twice today) and Limp Mode.
If the solenoid was bad, shouldn't the problem have switched to the exhaust side? I did have a dual in/ex code this morning. |

It's quite possible you may have 2 bad solenoids. I'd suggest replacing them both.
