Press cars being "tuned up" for better reviews, really? Anyone have a comment to this statement, is this true?

I would TOTALLY believe it. I know they will dyno quite a few bikes and pick the highest HP bikes as press bikes. Well known process to get the best reviews.

Wow!

- it is a lot of fun, tons of grip, a lot of fun, tons of grip
- a package! OMG a press car package!
- I agree with... no, I don't...
- you are going to have problems on the street with the auto manual

These guys remind me why I don't read Consumer Reports.

I disagree about the "google guy who wants the most expensive 3 series comment..."

I don't think that's right, not even in the slightest. M where I am from is known for being the cars that get the shit kicked out of them by their owners. Normally it's 911's that are owned by guys who want the most expensive one they can get and then baby them their whole life....

Certainly not an M..

Also, there was one generation of V8, not multiple gens.

Speaking of "the shit kicked out of them", how many M owners do that on track? 80% of owners of the most expensive Porsches, the GT customers, do that, and that is a figure published by Porsche, which doesn't support warranty at track

Misconceptions and prejudice is a terrible thing.

As I said, where I'm from everyone who has an M tracks the car. I know 10-15 M owners, ALL of which track the car.

The lighting on that set is just great.

The commentators, however, should have taken more than five minutes to prepare their thoughts.
