Next batch of allocations?

Does anybody know or have a guess at when the next batch of allocations will be given to dealers? Are they going to be monthly or quarterly again? I have a deposit down but waiting for an allocation, supposedly I'm next on the list unless some more bs occurs.

They should be getting them now. Put my order in end of July they had no allocation. CA emailed me yesterday with confirmed ED pickup date/time in September.

There are plenty of dealerships out there that are no using their allocations. I was on the list with a downpayment with the dealership nearest to me, but they balked at a European Delivery. They didn't want it to come out of their allocation.

I found another dealership that would and they also treated me much better. The funny thing is that the first dealer doesn't actually have a line of people waiting, so their allocations are going to waste and they lost a sale because of their stubbornness.

You should be able to find someone with build times available, but you may have to look in a larger radius.

I just put my deposit down last weekend and my sales guy said he would get the production number in September. He didnt exactly say "when more allocations open up" but I read between the lines.

Does anyone know if BMW will release more in September? If they do will the dealers find out the beginning of the month or is it just random timing?

I ended up finally getting my allocation last week, and from talking to another dealer apparently dealers usually get their monthly allocations on the 4th of each month.

Wow!

I would shop around but I also bought an X4 that is allocated but I got a really good deal on that car because I got the M3 as well so they are connected and I'm afraid I would loose money by breaking up the 2. I guess I wait and see what happens next week
