Lack of technical in depth info from BMW on the M3/M4

Coming from Saab and planning to pull the trigger today on a M4 I am surprised and shocked of the lack och in depth tech information on the cars.
Saab wrote big informative books on their technology, so where to get then knowledge on certain systems of the M4, I guess here in this forum.
But I would like to read about the gearbox, adaptive chassis et. etc. The sales brochure from BMW is just pictures more or less.
I believe they aim the sales towards tech savy ond engineering oriented custiomer. Me myself a Human Factors Psychologist have great interest in the Man-Machine-Interaction systems but find very little.
- Am I looking at the wrong places for info or is it just so bad in regards to how BMW inform potential customers?
Acceleration times besides 0-60 is of greater interest, give us tables and graphs and MORE please Munich!
