Retrofit NBT 10.2" from standard 6.5"

Hello friends,

It's sad, but in Latin america (specifically, due to local dealers) some standard specs are awful...my X5 comes with 6.5" display and basic idrive, so I just bought a complete set from ebay that is (10.2", drive and console)...I'm still waiting for the delivery, but I'm wondering if this can me coded and retrofit in my X5?

Any thoughts?

Not specifically sure about your question, but you may want to look and/or post this question to the Coding forum on bimmer fest (google it). There are a fair number of threads on there to do with swapping and/or upgrading the head units. All the experts hang out there so give it a try?

@LatinBimmer, you should be able to VO code it, but not really sure about the rest and if you are missing any other hardware.
I know that it has been done on the F10 a lot of time.
