Hi guys I'm sure someone out there must like this combo other than me, is there anyone that's got it or ordered it? I'd love to see a pic just to be fully sure it works..

It must be a UK thing.

Have you gone M3 or 4? I was thinking M3 with sunroof and silver wheels for the full classy look.

It's an M3, black wheels and a CF roof. Rather excited about it, too.

Looking at the survey on this website, I can't see any SS with Sonoma specced cars. It might be a UK thing. I really like the original Silverstone colour and this is a great progression from there.

Have you ordered yet?

but let's be honest alarm bells will sound at the factory if that combo gets ordered forcing a complete stop to production as they verify its not a typo

I haven't ordered yet mate, just trying to make the figures work out in my head at the moment. It's actually a fair chunk less to get an m5 at the moment which is mental.

After much googling I have found a couple of pics of an e92 M3 in SSII with bamboo beige, so we get the idea and it looks brilliant!

That is a nice combo, but Sonoma is rather different. That combo would be closer to an Amano Brown (which would be deadly with SS exterior)

Sonoma is much.....beiger. Less brown and less orange. I worry it would be too washed out next to SS....

10 days to go... And another 5 until I am back in the UK. At least this way there is time for my wife to take the car to have a PPF applied. I can't wait to see it. I'll try to get some accurate pictures of the interior.

Haven't you bought a black M4?

Nope I'm hanging on, names down for an M2 but I think it's the M3 that makes more sense in terms of practicality etc! I still want SSII with sonoma so I'm very excited to see yours!!

Colin it'll look absolutely brilliant. When I changed up from a deposit on the M2 to purchase of the M3 last week (partly your fault btw, those SSII pics you posted in the "Geneva" thread put me over the edge), I hummed and hawed over 2 colour choices. If the Canada Individual Launch cars had the option of an interior similar to Sonoma, I might have gone with the Frozen Silver (which is an SSII base nowadays and why I like it). SSII is such a class act colour. Love glossy paint but I have been dying to go Frozen so I did....and chose Brilliant White with Cohiba interior. Quite opposite to what you're trying to achieve but I couldn't do what you're intending because of the white exterior, wouldn't have had the same impact IMO. When you've got the luxury of being able to option out the exact colour combos you want, the results tend to make a statement about the owner so stick with your heart on this one brother!!!

So now it's my turn to crank up the heat a bit.....do it!! And if it helps, M2 interiors will be black, black, black and of course....black. SSII won't be an exterior choice

I did ED on SS with SB and 18 wheels in December. Looks good with cf roof. Glad I did that combo.
