Engine light / oil? 550i '08

today my Engine light went on. I checked what it was and it said engine oil. And went to BMW dealer and got free oil top off. But noticed only later light is still on. When I look up the issue it not longer refers to engine oil, it's says check ok. Indicates nothing wrong. But engine lights still on. Any clue?

I realize the engine light could have been anything and I asked a pretty open question. Just happened to be at the same time as engine oil top off. Anyway, I went to Autozone for a quick troubleshooting and this is the results:
aaEvap small leak detected
aaFaulty purge solenoid
Probably cause
1. Faulty vent Solenoid
2. Loose it missing fuel cap
3. Loose or faulty purge line

Thoughts?
