Clear Bra for E92

Hi everyone,

For those who have had experience with clear bras/paint protection film, is there a reason why I shouldn't do a full hood and front bumper clear bra?

Does anyone here think that that would cause any problem? Would it be hard to take it off? Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to avoid rock chips and also road salt for the Holidays touring

There is no better protection against rock chip than clear bra...except not driving at all.

Full hood just costs much more - unless you're installing it yourself. I've seen cars wrapped in clear bra completely, lol. I think it takes away from the fun of detailing.

Clear bra's are a great way to protect high impact areas of the car like bumpers, headlights, fenders etc. I always recommend to my clients we do a full coverage meaning we wrap the entire hood and fenders. I recommend this because I have seen countless times on partial wraps rock chips right about where the film stops and that is just heart breaking. Plus it results in a cleaner looking install since there will be no lines in the middle of your hood.

Let me know if you need a referral to a good installer in CA, we are located in San Diego if your near by.

Yea I understand the definition of heartbreaking very well since my car got keyed a month a go
Full hood coverage wouldn't make any heating issue? I am in mission Viejo, referrals to good installers are highly appreciated.
