Anyone on here the previous owner of this 2008 Silverstone E90 M3 in the Bay Area?

Hi guys,

I am interested in the following 2008 E90 M3 being sold at BMW Mountain View. Carfax indicated that it was a single owner vehicle and the owner was local in Los Altos.

Just wondering if on the off chance anyone here happens to know a bit more about the car. Would be interesting to hear the history of it in more detail.

Much appreciated

No idea who the owner is, but I did test drive that car. The passenger side rims were beat to hell several weeks ago when I drove it - there was a big chunk missing from the rear rim and the sidewall of the tire was kinda bulging out. Scrapes along the passenger door, front belly pan torn up and rear bumper gash. Hopefully it's since been touched up and given new wheels.

I actually ended up purchasing the car

I did notice a chunk missing from one of the rear tires, but all the rims looked new when I checked it out. They must have refinished the wheels because I was wondering how the tire could be missing such a chunk without any rim damage. I think new tires will be necessary soon.

The passenger door handle area looked a little hazy to me, I'll bet that's the result of them touching up the scrape you mentioned.

Had the car lifted and noticed the belly pan was pretty scraped up, I'd imagine it's difficult to get by without scraping it given the height of the car.

Bumper must have been cleaned up, I didn't notice anything while inspecting. Maybe I need to look again

Ah good deal. I ended up getting that same color combination. Love the SSII. The stock 18s look awesomely aggressive with spacers too, I might add.
