RHD M performance shift knob

Hi boys and girls,

I'm after this:http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...nce+shift+knob

I rang 4 BMW dealers around me this morning only to find out none of them is able to fit this on my M4 because this is not a part for F8X. As a matter of fact, I can't even order it if I don't have a 4 series VIN number.

I compared the pic in above mentioned post, the curve of carbon fibre trim next to shift lever looks a bit different from mine.

Anyone with a RHD manual F8X has done this before?

Thanks

I have the exact same question. I don't think BMW makes this shift knob for M3/M4 but it should fit as the boot can be stretched to fit. LHD/RHD should be the same.

Would be great to know if anyone installs this in their M3/M4 whether its LHD or RHD.

Ditto, would love to hear if this is doable. I want the same shift knob on my F80 M3.
