E60 LCi Non xenon headlights

Hi guys, I've just joined the BMW world with the awesome a
Looking 525d M Sport. It's the most awesome car I've ever had. Although I'm still overhaul e moon about this car, it doesn't take long before I find things I'd like the upgrade and the first is the lights. Now I know I can get the HID conversion units but wondered if anyone retrofitted the oem ballast from the xenon headlights. I don't really want to ruin the originally of the car which is why seeking this option.

Can anyone give any advice on this?

I had Xenon's on a 3 series and they were forever malfunctioning. My advice for you is to replace the yellow halogen with upgraded bulbs. You'll get the white/blue look without the faults and hassles. You can get the OEM bulbs on Amazon for around $30 USD with the shipping.
