Adding Coolant / Antifreeze, what's the water/coolant conversion?

I have a 2003 Z4 3.0i, and I had my coolant light come on. It stays on for a minute, but after the car is driven, it shuts off. I probably need to fill up the reservoir but don't know how much coolant to water I need to put in.

Some cars require 50/50, some cars require 70/30....I checked the book and it didn't specify. Anyone know?

good bet is 50/50

Doesn't hurt to have more distilled water than coolant if you are in a warm climate.

But I'd go for 50/50 as well.

Does it need to be Distilled? It can't be regular tap water? I just want to be completely positive before I add it to my car. I can't find anywhere on BMW's website where it shows you what to do.

If you can drink your tap water, it's not going to hurt your BMR coolant system.
