WTH moment in the z4

I was driving last night and out of no where the driver side mirror popped off. I herd it shatter on the streets. It left behind a super smooth backing. Looked liked it was never glued in. It was weird. Now i need to buy a replacement mirror. Weird...anyone else experience tis?

Sounds like the seal was bad.

Wanna know something even weirder, my passenger side mirror got knocked loose thursday by a huge chuck of something that was kicked up by the car ahead of me. Weird, our Z's must be linked by birth or something

LOL I havent had time to order the mirror. So i had to make due with one of those stick on mini mirrors from walmart. When i get a new mirror I'm going to put on a dab of silicone in the middle so it doesnt pop off again. I'm just lucky it didnt bounce off the car or anthoer car behind me.
