OEM perf. tire = ?????
Hey,
The dealership told me today that my tire were used up after only 1 summer on them (max 10 000 - 12 000km) on easy highway driving (110-120km/h) most of the time! (Continental perf tire that came with the car: 128i M-package) I'm I the only one who experience that? I'm pretty right now... since I didn't planned on getting new tire! But on the good side I'm ordering some sparco pro corza : Anybody in favor? http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...=Black+Painted Thanks for your support!! MaT |

I think something wrong there; my rear run flat Pirellis lasted just over 20K kms. The fronts have slightly less mileage and are still good. I changed out the run flats for Michelin PSS-improvement is huge.

Yes, 12k kms is way low. It took me 20k to burn off my Bridgestone run flats, and that was with autocross all summer, too.

Agree with the above. Something's wrong here. My Bridgestone 050A runflats were still in decent shape at 50K when I dumped them for non-runflat max.perf. summers ( a real good idea, by the way). Unless you agree that the tires are shot, I'd say the dealer's running a game on you.
