Go down to "zero miles remaining" and then drive for a while until you run out (hopefully with fuel cans in trunk) and then report back please.

"Low" in L/100km is "High" in MPG. So you're looking for max gas efficiency.
11.7 L/100km is roughly 20 MPG

wait i'm not that great converting l/km to mpg but if i'm reading this right 11.7 litres is 3 US gallons and 100km is 60 miles so that 20mpg that pretty damn good.

Wow... that is really good. I tried driving conservatively and i track my mileage with fuelly app, the best i have ever done was something like 12.2L/100km (19.3mpg) with very very light foot and quite a bit of highway... my average since i started tracking is 13.2L/100km (17.8mpg) and i dont drive aggressively.
Mine is a 08 6MT E90.

i can't fit fuel cans in my trunk. It makes the occupants wooze from the fumes. Please advise.

I can get 20 on long road trips, usually 12 around town and 6 on track.

I get about 13-15 on my daily drives. 16-18 on my mountain drives. And 19-21 on long trips.

I am at 19.2 L/100km mixed city and hyw. (12.3 mpg)
Zero to the speed limit - tout suite with manual mode only on the DCT Nothing to be proud of but it is fun!

The best I managed to do was 10l/100km on a straight, flat desert road driving 120km/h on cruise control for 10 minutes. However, under normal conditions it is far worse. I'd say about 17l/100km or so.
