Good bye 335i..... Hello M3!!!
Traded in my 07 Titanium Silver E92 335i 6spd with nav for a 2009 E92 Silverstone Metallic II M3 6speed!!!!!!! Love the M3 had a lot of people telling me not to do it the 335i would be faster. But I really love my M3 now that I've had it a few weeks

I did the same thing. From 2011 E92 335i to 2011 E93 M3. Did it about a month ago. Love it and glad I did.

I had an '08 335i. Either variety of M3 would be faster I reckon.

Push a 335 hard and you are quickly overdriving the car. After a year with an M3 I still feel I am under driving it most of the time. The S65 engine is truly special and the chassis works perfect with it.
Likely in daily driving the 335 torque feels better - coukd be what your friends are talking about. |

There talking about tuning potential 400+ wheel is pretty easy to do. And the low end torque is hard to get over but I'm very happy with my decision to buy the M3

And let me guess... those people are also driving a 335i or something comparable? It's human nature to try and justify what you have or own but to say the 335i is faster than the M3 is downright comical. Congrats on your FASTER upgrade. |

"I'm totally going back to my 335i after I sell my M3" - says nobody.

Not the tuned 335i vs M3 discussion again lol.
I also came from a 335i 6MT with JB4. It was a fun car to drive but the M3 is a completely different feeling. If you ever find yourself missing the torque, just rev that S65 symphony to 8k and you'll forget very quickly
