Wheel rash, before and after... "lucky!"
So almost brand new, visiting a family member at a local hospital, caught the tight curb in the parking garage. Needless to say, I almost needed the hospital after that due to high blood pressure!
So car went in for the 1200 mile service and the dealership's wheel guy wouldn't touch it... basically said, he didn't have the ability to handle these new colored wheels. So again, . Found a guy near my home but the insurance I got (glad I did) for this type of thing was not on the insurance company's network. After they could not find anyone to do the wheel, (and some discussion with my dealer who sold the policy to me), they hooked up with my guy and approved him doing the work. I think he did a hell of a job. FYI guys, this wheel is NOT easy to fix. Make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing! BEFORE: AFTER:

Lol. Comon guys...what the heck would I gain? I'm not a wheel fixing company!
I did notice that too. I tried to get the wheel in the same spot for the pic, but it's a bit off.. and, the light is darker. I know the tire had to come off and it had to be rebalanced so I don't know if they had to remove or move the weights. I see weights up to the right, next to the brake. Update: So they did in fact remove the old weights, and replaced them for the rebalancing. The old very light colored weights "looked pretty bad" too, so he used something darker instead. It does indeed look better than those ugly light ones. I just took a photo with flash and all which shows the new weights (and the dirt too!)

Wow, great work
Must've been a huge sigh of relief from your end. Personally, I'd cringe every time I walked around my car seeing a wheel I curbed.

South Windsor, CT. 'Connecticut Wheel Repair'. Just Google it. I won't post a link... not sure if it's allowed on the forum or not. Quote:
Yes, the black wheels are the ones that are so hard to fix!
