E92 M3 Jack Points w/Pictures
In searching around today I seemed to find a lot of conflicting information and lack of solid details and was surprised nobody had yet posted (or I didn't see it) the TIS for lifting with a standard jack. Hopefully useful for others.
TIS VERBIAGE: The vehicle may be raised with a trolley jack on the following jacking points! 1 - Car jacking point on reinforcement strut 2 - Side car jacking points 3 - Rear differential (Risk of damage: It is not permitted to raise by using the rear differential cover!) I would use the frame member just behind the rear diff instead.

I think there's confusion mostly about the differential jack point. The actual body of diff is good, but not the cooling fins. I think I've seen some posts about people jacking up the car from the fins, and that's a big no-no.

Correct, though its very "thick" and strong aluminum, it is still aluminum.

The front and sides are really easy to understand. The diff is the confusing one. There is a big flat surface right where the arrow is. Do not put anything under the cover which is the aluminum one with the fins. I stand my car on my 2x "ramp" (3 pcs of 2x10s 1'6, 3' and 5' stacked, glued and screwed together and two pins to the floor) and then I have room for my jack. I use a 2x in between the jack and the diff. Set the car on stands just in case!!!!
