M3 Owners Pouch...which version came with which cars?

It appears there are possibly two different versions of the M3 owners manual pouch out there. A fabric version with the "///M" logo embossed on the front, and then the more traditional version with the BMW roundel in the lower corner.

Did the early E90 M3's come with the fabric pouch and more current models come with the leather pouch?

Looking for some clarification. Trying to put a 2008 M3 (sedan) back to original and looking for guidance.

Yeah, IIRC, the old E46 I had was able to fit everything in the glove compartment.

Mine fits on the owners manual shelf above the battery in the trunk.

That's it, this car is going back-- didn't get the full leather owner's manual case.

To take a page from the cloth seat track guys-- the fabric cover is better becuz it saves weight...
