Check Control Message
Does anyone know what this message is? It happens occasionally and I'm not sure what it means. I notice every time it does it, my mpg resets as well as my trip computer going to zero miles (nav mpg and trip computer does not change). It's not really a problem, just kind of an annoyance. If I knew what was at least happening I don't think I would care as much.
I didn't find the error message anywhere on this list: https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/p...t/view/9633840 Any help would be appreciated! |

See page 70 of your owners manual, or search for Check control. You can push the bc stalk button or use IDrive to read which non catastrophic event has occurred. Simply means that something requires your attention.
Ps: if you have to reset your clock then I would guess that the message is the battery drained note. If so, have battery checked.

Check control is to check the vehicle's status. Brakes, coolant etc. if you try clicking on it it should say "Check OK" assuming theres nothing wrong.
