New E92 Owner here
Introducing myself, my name is Joey. Transitioned from VWs to my first BMW.
Just picked up 2012 Alpine White E92 M3 this past friday. Car is 100% stock for now. Looking into catback exhaust sometime soon and possibly H&R sport springs to lower it just a bit more. Previous daily driver 1983 Rabbit Pickup And before that a 2010 GTI |

Congrats and welcome! That Rabbit was beautiful, sad you had to get rid of it.

Congrats on the new car and welcome! I'm a new M3 owner as well. In addition, I'm going 15 years strong with my VW Corrado. I used to be a huge VW guy as well.

Comments like this make me want to bag it just so more butt hurt people cry about it lol.
But seriously I have no plans to bag it. Bagging the GTI was the best thing I ever did to that car. I ran airlifts full performance kit. Rode amazing and handled better than stock. That car also made 350whp so it was no slouch. |

If you don't mind sharing how much did you get the car for? Down payment? Monthly? I only ask because I'll be picking up an e92 soon and want to make sure I'm not getting completely ripped off.

I got this car for 46k, one previous owner and has 36k on it. It's very clean inside and out. As far as down payment and monthly, that depends on what you have to put down and what kind of credit you have. I have a very good APR on my loan and put a lot down.

I have a very good credit score myself and am planning on putting a significant amount down--I was just wondering how much it ended up costing for you to get some general numbers in my head. Either way, thanks!

You can find payment calculators online to figure that out. I really dont like posting financial info publicly. Many things to account for; your APR, down payment, term length, etc.

Yep I know that. Again, was just curious if you were willing to give some additional insight but no worries!

Look into the KW H.A.S. kit, retains EDC and offers a little more adjustability over springs.
