Color Change

I'm thinking of changing up the color, to protect the paint and for looks, but I'm having an impossible time choosing the color. Current suggestions are lambo ballon white, satin gunmetal type color, and a snow camo print.
I'll probably powdercoat the ZCP either gloss or satin black too, because the silver won't go very well with other colors and I'm tired of seeing the brake dust stains. I love the jerez, but every time something happens to it I die a little on the inside.
So any other color suggestions? Keeping in mind this is my daily, which is one reason i think camo would be a bit excessive.

How about a frozen blue or frozen white wrap. I think that would look pretty neat.

Would a wrap be cheaper and protect better than repaint?

Not to hijack the thread, but do any forum members care to share their repaint costs? Even quotes. Factory paint or aftermarket, either one, I'm just curious.

Wrap is much cheaper than full repainted. You'd have to protect the new color after the repaint with a clear bra or something too.

I highly suggest wrapping it instead of painting it. You'll have a hell of a time selling the car if you paint it.

It's going to be a wrap or dip. Painting would cost a ridiculous amount, especially for the satin/frozen colors.

wrap is the way to go, but only use a highly recommended installer and pay for a quality job....true story #1

paint will KILL your re-sale value b/c no one will believe you when you say you only did it for cosmetic purposes...true story #2

I think snow camo is cool. I also think a matte orange or matte lime green would be sick.

Don't dip a whole car unless it's super temporary. I've never seen it look good in person. Even wraps aren't "perfect". I have mine wrapped 3M satin white metallic and love it though.

Yea that's the thing about the dip, it's cheap so I can switch it up often if I get bored of the color, my friend just go his GTR dipped and it looks good, needs some cleaning up around the edges, but it's only for the weekend.

Cool. I'm sure some applications are better than othrers. I've considered doing mine before track days but never did. Good luck, whatever you do.

I don't know the answer.....what happens to the paint in the worse case situation after the wrap is removed year(s) down the road? Is it damaged? Does it leave razor damage? Because I know clear bra can leave permanent damage.

I would choose a wrap in matte Lime rock orange, that Battleship grey (as seen on an M5) or a Red.

also, paint is not easily or cheapily reversible.

While paint is the best way to go for quality, a wrap will be way more cost effective and temporary.

I suggest going with Oracal brand. I've had endless amounts of people amazed that it's not paint.

Can you post some more pics of your car? Interested to see what it looks like from a little bit further out.
