I usually worry about other bmw drivers waving at me. My go to is to pretend I'm texting or act like I don't see them. This one guy made eye contact but I looked away as he was raising his hand up. That was a close one.

I have constant worry about how I can get up early enough to go drive my M when the streets are nearly deserted - this is ideally 4:30 am til 5:30 am. I See zero cops at that time due to it being a shift change, I literally see maybe one other car, this on the west side of Portland, keep that in mind.
So I very carefully find roads I can drive not fast mind you but, with some spirited driving. Today was up and on the road for 45 min. and then had my M3 safely tucked away in the garage by 6:05.....phew.. Cheers, Merlin

I worry about getting dings and dents when I park. There's a lot of inconsiderate people out there who could don't care at all about your car or their own car.

I worry if I take the car out of the garage, itll rain, or ill get brake dust on my wheels, or a bird will shit on my paint, or it will otherwise get dirty. I avoid driving my ///M at any cost imaginable. Once, I walked the 9 miles to work because the weatherman said it was going to rain that day. #firstworldproblems

$4 a gallon? I had to look several times at the date on your post to make sure it wasn't a resurrect from 2008. I saw gas a few days ago at $1.99! I guess the L.A. tax is as bad as the M tax.

I worry about the countless times people pulling up next to me asking about if my car has mods?
I just tell them "No! It's completely stock" (H&R rs, TE37rt, IPE F1). The sad thing is that most of them believe me and then ask me how much did i pay for the car. |

OP, welcome & your car looks great.
Its always something special driving the M3, no matter if its down the street or a journey across town, the S65 engine makes it a theatrical experience no matter the situation. Some constant worries are rock chips, dumb drivers, and bad roads (i.e., debris, puddles, potholes, etc.) but once in a while you get a smooth open stretch or a traffic-free on-ramp and its a glorious feeling. You can thank overpopulation and strict environmental legislation for these ridiculous prices here. To make matters worse, 91 octane is the highest we octane available most of the time.

Windshield washer pump - $80, throttle actuators - a lot, low pressure fuel sensor - $90, spark plugs every 30k, expensive oil changes, wheel vibrations, etc.....
