I'm coming to Boston!
Hey fellas, my wife and I are taking the M3 for a trip to Boston for a few days! My sister and brother in-law are also accompanying us but they are driving separately. We will be in the area On August 23rd-26th. We will be staying near the Seaport area by the water. It will be a very nice 6hr drive from home in Rochester,NY. Was hoping maybe to meet up with some fellow forum members, maybe we can catch up and go for a cruise or something. Possibly show us around town? If anyone could possibly give us some suggestions or ideas on what to do and what to see that would be great! We have a few things to do on our scheduled time there, but any ideas are welcomed! Thanks guys! Hope to maybe catch up with some of you while we are in town! Cheers!

Duck tour is popular, walk around Boston common, public garden, and Newbury St. Fenway park if you're interested. Boston is a pretty easy "walking around" city and the trains can take you pretty much anywhere you want to go I know you're driving the M but parking can be tough. Boston is probably the worst driving city there is. Streets and directions rarely make sense I've lived here my whole life so I can get around easy but I can see how confusing it is for people from out of town. You can always take a cruise along the coast to the beach too

Yes definitely can't go wrong with legals. There's also James hook and co. Which is near the seaport as well. Capital grill and grill 23 if you want to drop a few hundred on dinner. Seafood is pretty common around here so I'll say you'll have your choice anywhere you go. nahant beach is pretty good that's about a 25 min ride from where you're staying there's also Tides restaurant at the end of the beach which is a seafood place. Gloucester has nice spots and lil shops but that'd be maybe an hour ride. Castle island is a good spot too that's maybe a 10min ride it has a beach area but it's not much more of an open field and playground you can watch the planes fly overhead and the boats there's also a good clam place there too. There's another popular seafood place a lil past the legal seafood at the seaport after e Bank of America pavilion I forget the name but it's at the small rotary

Thank you soo much for the suggestions! I appreciate everything! I am jotting down all of these places so we can try all that we can in the time that we have! Are there any car meets or places where nice cars get together? Would love to see the car scene, especially any ///M's. Maybe we could meet up for a drink or something and snap a few pics I promise, my wife is very photogenic hahaha. Thanks again for the suggestions bro!

Car scene? Hmmm there's not much of one that I'm aware of just the high school tuner kid spots. If you hang around Newbury and boylston st. You may see a few exotics here and there but keep your expectations low it's nothing like LA or NY. I'll have to double check my schedule coincidentally we are supposed to be heading to NYC one of these weekends. What hotel are you staying at?

Not really the car scene, I guess if there are any cars and coffee events or that kinda stuff. Would be cool to catch up with some forum members but you seem to be the only one chiming in on this thread lol.

Yea I have only noticed a couple forum members that are in the Boston area. A lot of members in NH and northern/central MA so probably dont have great advice on what to do in the Boston area.
