Opinion on grille inserts?

What do you guys think of these? I haven't seen them in real life so I wanted to see if anyone has these and could post pics.

There are a couple of people that have them. If you have some time, scroll through the entire random pics thread. Lots of mod ideas in there

i agree with the majority.....possibly one of the worst mods i've seen.....everyone has their own taste i know but these are not a great look (apologies anyone who has them!!!!)

Makes the front fascia of the car look like it has a nose bleed lol

It works better on M3/M4 but it looks out of place on the bigger X5

Well, now i feel great inside having just installed these... at first i had vinyl tape over the front plane of the grill fins.

got them for 18 off ebay tho

But i also have eyelids over the LED portion of my headlights in Gloss Black(OEM paint Matching), producing a more narrow front end appearance.
and they kick ass

One thing you'll learn about this forum, unlike the 3 series/M3/M4/M5 subgroups is that people will give honest opinions without being disrespectful. You don't need thick skin to be in here... And your decisions will always be respected, unless you're Kzang and he's talking about a 6wb. Lol.

You know what? I was just thinking that this forum/community is pretty cool.

I've been on E90 and Porsche Macan and a couple of other forums and you are totally right! This forum really had a nice respectful vibe here.
