Vancouver BC - Locals?
Bimmer world...
Looking for some locals who aren't complete ass hats that want to have a beer at some point in the near future. I need to broaden my horizons from the usual talk of business and lawyerly stuffs from my significant other. Need moar car talks. If anyone is local and interested in hooking up at some point in the near future let me know. The more the merrier. Rik |

Hi Rik84, my M3 is scheduled to arrive in December or January. I am located in Coquitlam and Treeboy who also has an M3 is also in Coquitlam. Perhaps we could try to have a meet up in the new year somewhere between here and Vancouver

Hey,
Earlier on, there were quite a few Vancouver M3/M4 owners who were a little more active. They even went for a group drive. Hopefully, when the weather warms next year, it can happen again. But, anyways, I could be down for a beer. N |

Driving here? Wanna meet up? Don't worry, the rumors of me being a deadly snake are exaggerated a lot. I am not that bendy.

Count me in... I'm up for a beer or a drive.
I'll sub this thread but I'm not on the forum enough to keep track. A PM would be great! Lups is as much a Canadian as any of us (except that accent!), so my vote is to let her join us. Thoughts? Concerns? Perhaps her AY F82 is too bright for us? Will we still have any coffee or milk left in Vancouver when she leaves? Legitimate worries, I know, but if she's willing to risk the drive... |

I never fit any of my clothes after Canada. You guys after 2 years in the USA meet the standards for food I miss from home. And the humor. To make a joke here, you say meh. To make a joke in an educated country, you can assume knowledge. And again Canada wins. Hey ragged edge: Shoot me an email at: Hidingbehindanick@hotmail.com

milk is weird animal. I crave it by itself. But put in my coffee and I am one angry young man. I need black tar in a mug at all times.
Yah drinks sounds good. My business partner is coming down as well and we're meeting with some developers and architects in the Seattle/Bellevue area. Probably stay at a Westin or something along those lines. Anyways - maybe start up a simple email or whatsapp group? Probably easier to keep in touch with all of us west coast peeps. My M3 has been loaded on the boat today at Bremerhaven and is scheduled to arrive in Halifax on November 30 My dealership has told me my car is scheduled to arrive January 16 but I am hoping it is earlier. Perhaps a meetup sometime in January! |

LOL, maybe no need to burn that house down. I was telling my wife that with the sky high real estate prices in the Vancouver area we should sell our house and move to the maritimes and retire. I could spend my time driving my M3 on hopefully much less crowded roads and making different recipe versions of lobster chowder :-)

What's everyone doing this weekend? If it's decent out - beer?
Also - who's the go to for some simple performance work in the lower mainland? I usually use Racing Greed in Coquitlam but their specialty isn't BMW that's for sure. Will probably use Force Fed's dynojet for a baseline pull at some point soon. JB4 and downpipes at some point in the near future as well. |
