THIS SUCKS

WELL yesterday i let my brother take my car out and he hit the pass side mirror and broke it off sad... The wires are still connected but the mirror fell off and broke. anyone know how much it might cost. ALso the pass side mirror is hanging by a wire but no marks on the outside or paint thankfully

It broke? The mirrors actually bend back for when in the need to fit into narrow spaces. Maybe he reversed into something?

Yeah i just had the same thing happen to me, except my passenger mirror was hit off by debree kicked up from the car ahead of me. The cost will depend on a few things, is everything broken? For me there was really no damage to the actual mirror, so the dealer can reuse some of the non-broken parts. For me the cost will be about $650 for the mirror components, that includes what it costs to paint it, and about another $200 for the labor, but like i said before it all depends

That does suck. Order the parts at Tischer BMW online, usually they give at least 10% to 20% on parts, and see if you can install yourself, if not, take it to the dealer.

Excuse the file size. I found out it did that when I tried to fit in between my z4 and the wall and couldn't fit apparently.
