Snowed in cars

So technically this isn't for my M5, but I was hoping someone may have some tips on getting a car going after being under snow for a few days. It's a 3 series wagon with xdrive - we're spending Christmas in Tahoe and it's been coming down hard. The cars outside are covered. Anything special other than warm up the car and clear the snow? Thanks

Unless it sits regularly for weeks and weeks where you might have a battery issue should be fine to just clean off, dig out and go..

Remember its a BMW not a mid 2000 Italian car lol

was the battery plugged in? if not battery might be drained? but if the battery is good ... it will start... they can be in -40 deg C and still start, as long as the battery is good.

yes sir, i guess that would be the case. it was so hot here, the thought of eating xmas dinner outside was out of the question. instead, it was inside with all aircondtioners working flat out..

i have never lived any where else in the world, and from memory the coldest temperature i have ever experienced would only be about -1 deg C.....

none of my cars have ever seen snow, and no doubt ever will......

Drove away as if it were parked in a heated garage - these cars are great. Thanks for putting up with my OCD.
