Full Leather XT1 Gets Special Thread?

I noticed the stitching on the dash for the full leather SO cars seems to be orange. Is that true for other colors? Like, if I got Golden Brown with the XT1 full leather option, would the stitching be golden brown?

No. There are 4 colours of stitch available as another Indivudual interior option if you get full black Merino. This is extra cost of course. Silver, Blue, Yellow and Red (SO) are your choices.

Those threads are only available with full black? I was hoping for black stitching over golden brown full.

I ordered full amaro brown, and I believe it has contrasting grey stitching.

You can get that but it will be much more ($$) than the new 4-colour Indivudual stitch option. Those are similar to the 4 Individual paint options that are now offered for a reduced price (and can be found on your configurator) along with the standard colour palette.

I think $6k USD or so for custom Individual stitching including full leather for you guys in the US. Anyone who has it correct me if I'm wrong on that figure.

Individual stitching is $2300 over the cost of full leather (I know bc I have this on my car). The full leather cost will depend on whether you have executive package or not. You get a discount on your full leather when you purchase the executive package. You can see this exemplified if you play with the configurator.

OP's original question was misinterpreted, it seems.

He's asking about the contrast stitching on the dashboard only, which is standard when you order full leather (except for Black, naturally). As far as I know this is present only for non-Individual Full Leather, because when you get Individual Full Leather, it's all the same color rather than partially contrasting black as it is with the standard non-Individual colors. I could be wrong about that though

On my individual Amaro full leather, I have grey stitching where it is Amaro, and on the dash binnacle as well. On the seam above the glove box, it is black stitching on the black leather. (apologies for the blurry pic)

^^^^ And then the tri-color stitching on the steering wheel? That would make 5 different colors for stitches? Or is that 4?

The gray stitching in BMW parlance is "Platinum".

Ok, so Amaro comes with contrast gray (or "platinum" according to the other gentleman, above) stitching throughout, by default. Thanks for replying with the pic. That sounds familiar, now that I think about it. I think Golden Brown stitching may also be contrasting by default, I seem to remember pics with a light tan, almost white colored stitching.
