Strange ///M Nav startup splash screen - 1200 mile service

Had a weird thing happen last week. Got in the car, turned it on and noticed a very odd splash screen on the Nav. Had the ///M logo very big and it swirled in, then disappeared. I happened to look at my instrument panel right afterwards and noticed my mileage was exactly 1200. I had my 1200 mile service done a couple of days prior.

What's with this screen, and what does it mean? Does it come back?

There is a splash screen in the nav and another in the HUD. When you unlock the car the system is already booting up so by the time you take a seat you will notice it. I coded the ///M to appear longer in the HUD for example so everytime I start my car I get to see the cool logo in the HUD.

The splash screen is always there except the "warning" screen in our US cars obscures it for the most part.

If you want to see the "M" splash screen, next time you open the door and immediately get in the car; press the ignition button. It's a very split second thing; afterwards you will get the "warning" screen.

Great I'll try that next time. Thanks!

If you remove the warning screen via coding, will the M graphic splash screen be visible for a longer period of time? If yes, does anyone know approximately how long? Without the warning screen, does the last screen you were in get displayed automatically?

there's also one with the green monochromatic cityscape...very cool but as others have stated, only appears for a quick second.
