That thing can't be hard to make. It looks like a piece of plastic wrapped in Alcantara, with a foam block glued to it for rigidity. Am I missing something? Is this just a "GTS purist" thing?

I would gladly take an aftermarket one, if it existed

Looks like base from regular non-split armrest with simply much thinner padding & alcantara mat'l applied.

You should be able to take that pic to any reputable auto upholstery shop and have them make you one from a stock armrest.

I worked for such a shop thru college & we could have done something like that with no problem...
