2016 X5M. RC is moderately easy to install. If you are comfortable changing spark plugs, RC is cake. Take a flashlight and locate the 3.5 tmap on the bottom of each intercooler and you will know what it takes to unplug them and plug in the RC. A very cool feature is the bypass plug. You can go back to stock in 60 seconds with the plug. I really like that feature.

WOW. Those are fantastic numbers. Racechip it is, then, for when our X6M arrives, soon.
Did you do anything else to your car - exhaust, downpipes, etc? Thanks for taking the time to perform the tests, and to post them up.

you know, considering the car comes stock with something like 640+ crank HP (which BMW sandbagged on), I've been hesitant to look for a tune for this thing. I mean if it will whip an M3 stock then I figured what's the point? But looking at this performance bump, and at such as reasonable price (and with the ability to revert back to your point with the bypass), I may not be able to pass this up
I can't remember in your other posts if you outlined what the differences are as a daily driver vs. on the 1/8 or 14 mile? What does it feel like versus stock? Thanks

I have 600 miles on the RC. If it stumbled, etc it would come off asap. Drives smooth as stock. More mid range torque at part throttle. Boogie mode at wot. http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1237831 |

I'm definitely getting onto this. Just considering another mod before doing so.
Great results.
